Found the answer somewhere else; but for anyone interested: earlier drives have difficulty reading the reflectivity level of the blue-tinged cdrs. Newer (quad and faster) have their lasers focused to be able to read it. solution: I have to put a newer cd drive in my v64. So, anyone know what later model drives it supports?
