1. I believe the PAL / NTSC SWCDX2s have different lockout chips. The PAL has a PAL lockout chip and vice versa.
2. The NTSC SWCDX2 works on a moded PAL SNES, weather it's just the lockout mod, the 50/60, or both, it works great.
