> > > Hmmm... I have a V64 myself, never seen that kind of problem... it definately couldn't hurt to upgrade the bios, but if you did it you'd have to do it via pc link cable, as you wouldn't be able to use your non-working play button to make it load the bios update from a cd.
> > > Now whether upgrading the bios will solve your problem, I'm leaning toward no, but like I say, couldn't hurt :) I suppose you could take it apart some and check where the buttons are and make sure nothing looks really wrong with them... But otherwise, I really don't know what to tell ya... The unit itself is in my experience well built, I used to carry mine around in a duffel bag to various friends houses, and it even survived getting thrown all over the car when I hydroplaned off the freeway at 55mph and totaled my car. :) Still works great to this day hehe...

> > Hmmmmmmmmmmm well i tried upgrading the bios via the pc it went through ok, but buttons are still not working :( i opened the machine and the buttons look fine, so i really dont know what to do now, i wouldnt have minded if the games loaded at even a decent speed through the pc>v64 but it takes bloody ages : ((((((
> Hmm... yeah, I don't think I could hack loading from the pc all the time... very rarely I'll do it to try like one game I'm particularly interested in playing, but usually I'll just waste one cdr burning just that game onto it, cause I'm impatient :P hell, they only cost like .40 apiece now if you get a good deal hehe...
> You might check http://www.bung.com.hk and see about any possibility of repair, not sure how that works though... sorry I'm not more help :)
